McCain's surrogates, including Georgia boy Randy Scheunemann, are attacking Obama adviser Dan Kurtzer for visiting Syria to try and advance the Israel-Syria talks re the Golan. It's amazing that the neocon agenda still gets such a pass in American politics. A shame that someone as intelligent and sensible as Samantha Power is railroaded. And a tragedy that Rob Malley, who emerges from Aaron David Miller's book The Much Too Promised Land as seasoned and fair, is also not allowed to play. Miller himself is engaged in this care and feeding of the neocons. He declines to identify the neocon agenda baldly in his book, quotes Feith as if he were some sort of honest broker, whitewashing his connection to One Jerusalem and other extremists, and refers to Republican Jewish Coalition megawallet Mel Sembler in neutral terms too. You have to wonder whether Miller doesn't himself have ambitions for another presidential appointment in the Middle East peace process, that neverending industry, and is afraid to say a negative word about the neocons. I wonder whether Obama has the courage to use that n-word. Remember when liberal got discredited? Why is neocon sticking around?
Liberal stuck around.

Would that "megawallet" was the worst that could be said about Sembler. The lives that man has damaged are many, and mostly the innocent and confused young.

McCain reps and is part of the US war machine, which paradoxically holds the country together while simultaneously destroying it, and many others.
The War Party is a big tent and includes both the weapons/contractor cartels and the neocon/Lobby. They are a natural fit, ripping the carcass apart like vultures and hyenas.
