Steve Sailer is on to the same issue I am, the importance of Jewish affinities, networks, and has this to say re Georgia:

These network biases are natural. What is unnatural is that we Americans have unilaterally disarmed our national immune system against people yanking our chains. We aren't supposed to ever notice the pattern. When we hear this kind of propaganda, we aren't allowed to laugh and say, "Oh, man, this isn't another one of those Israeli weapons deals again, now is it?"

And of course we absolutely aren't allowed to mention what a large fraction of American pundits, reporters, editors, owners, and advertisers are Jewish.

Once again, this is not an example of Jewish conspiracy, but of Jewish networks and neuroses.

I mostly agree with Sailer. The subject gives a lot of people the heebie jeebies. So you have to be careful. Conspiracy doesn't sound good, that's why it's not a conspiracy! Network sounds halfway legit. Affinities is cool. Faction is positively Madisonian. I think the key is for Jews to be more open about their networks because god knows they're influential. I'd point out that Sailer is not approaching this subject with a Protocols of Zion spirit, but a far more legit, 2008 spirit: WTF!?

And Witty is approaching it with a "Who, us? God-forbid!" mentality; look at the facts, Witty. Phil has posed nothing that is not already all over the internet sjpecific regarding Israeli activity in Georgia. Such involvement is not "utterly insignificant." One of the powers (in light of current realitly of American domestic politics, a constant subject on this blog) opposite Witty ignores as usual is Israel.

But I don't blame Witty for ignoring the pattern before our eyes.
I merely urge those concerned about the future of all Americans
to look closely at this new cold war--and how all the pieces have been put together--I view the Georgia incident as just part of the continuing saga, which Obama and McCain will continue--and the least culpable will continue to pay for with body and money, onto the generations.

You consider a couple Israeli business interests as more prominent news than the imperial nature of Russia "busting a few heads", or of the ambiguous status of the autonomous regions (that are as functionally autonomous as the PA jurisdiction in the West Bank. They are, except...)

It is Americanized Jewish Zionist Witty who is being dishonest. Well the facts on Georgia are:

Israel has been selling arms to Georgia for years and has provided 1000 IDF advisors to Georgia for this eventual play by Georgia. Russia early on in this shot done an Israeli drone being used by Georgia.

The US has also been providing training to Georgia army and funneling money and weapons to Georgia.

Bush has no standing to ask anyone not to go around invading countries, of course.

The debate about whether Israel or Jews in general are behind the war in Georgia misses the point.

The point is that the media in the US have an instinctive and revealing reaction to the crisis - in favor of internationalist pettifogging in an already muddled situation, in favor of denying any nation, unchosen nation that is, the right to act in national self interest.

Our media is far more corrupt and servile than Phil admits. It is a virtual propaganda machine. The levels of dishonesty and outright lies are staggering.
